Between his work on Reading Rainbow, Captain Planet and Star Trek: The Next Generation, LeVar Burton is a walking, talking pop-culture reference. So what better home for him on television right now than NBC's pop-culture homebase, Community? The actor, via his Twitter account, has let his followers know that he will appear in an episode later this season. First announcing that he's back on the Paramount lot (where they shot Star Trek: TNG), he sent a long a picture of a script with "Community" written on the top. He then sent out this tweet:

If you click on the link, you'll see a picture of a call-sheet that reveals that Burton will be playing himself in the episode.
I'm an avid fan of Community and I personally can't wait until this episode (then again, I can't wait for any new episodes. They're just that good). I can only imagine the stream of references that Abed will pour out throughout the episode and it will be glorious.
