Lost Gets Lost In November

ABC has announced the official start up date for the second part of season three of ‘Lost’. Rather than breaking up the show in a series of clumps, mixed in with reruns every few weeks, the network is going to break the show up into two halves. The last new episode of the first part will air November 8th.

After the winter break, new episodes will begin airing on February 7th. To fill the ‘Lost’ timeslot during the break, instead of airing the usual reruns, ABC is going to air the new series, ‘Daybreak’. If you’ve missed all of the commercials for ‘Daybreak’, it’s the new drama series staring Tay Diggs. The show has a very Groundhog Day-ish feel to it, based on the promos. Except, instead of Bill Murray repeating the same day over and over, Diggs character will have to repeat the day and try to save the woman he loves.

Whether or not ‘Daybreak’ will be as good as the promos are trying to make us believe it is is up for debate. It could be just the thing we need to keep us entertained during the ‘Lost’ hiatus. If not, there’s always ‘Criminal Minds’ or if we’re really desperate, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reruns on PAX.
