ABC is gearing up for a big Tuesday night. Last year’s midseason comedy, Don’t Trust The B---- in Apartment 23 is getting an early run on ABC this season. The sort of friendship-driven comedy stars Krysten Ritter as the aforementioned B----, as well as Dreama Walker and James Van Der Beek (who plays a fictionalized version of himself). The series is gearing up for an October 23 and will be part of a Tuesday lineup that also includes the ensemble comedy Happy Endings. ABC has released new art for the upcoming shows, and the pictures are certainly revealing.

The Happy Endings poster is the less surprising of the two, featuring the cast at least mostly naked and hiding under sheets and a mountain of feathers. Since the Season 2 DVD came replete with a cover featuring the cast in robes only, the new ad doesn’t even feel a full step further in a risqué direction. Besides, why are there feathers popping out of the pillows? It's stranger than it is sexy.

I could probably say the same about the second photo. As you can see from the EW spread, Ritter is taking one from the ol’ Varsity Blues playbook and covering herself in some tasty whipped cream. Except, I’m sure it isn’t whipped cream. Anyone who’s in the know about that Varsity Blues scene knows they had to use shaving cream in place of actual whipped cream to make that stuff stick to Ali Larter. Still, due to Ritter’s character, Chloe’s, long-lasting friendship with Van Der Beek, it is sort of fitting she would get naked to present this sort of homage to his filmography.

If you are excited about either the Happy Endings or Don’t Trust the B---- premiere, you won’t have much longer to wait. Happy Endings Season 3 premieres Tuesday, October 23 at 9 p.m. ET, followed by Don’t Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 at 9:30 ET.
