Rejects Get Schooled

Most prank shows are terrible. They all seem to involve stolen cars, farting, and anticlimactic reveals. The first season of ‘Punk’d’ was a slight break from the monotony, but eventually, that grew as dull and lifeless as its predecessors. I never thought I would say this, but the CW is here with a possible solution.

According to Zap2it.com, the CW has announced it will air a prank show devoted to duping a bunch of gullible high schoolers who wrongly think their extra curricular budget has been cut. Could this project possibly get any more subversively beautiful? Yes. It seems the dumbass kids are from Jersey, and the All-American Rejects will somehow be involved. How glorious.

The special (airing on August 5th) will chronicle the outrageous lengths that fifty-five band members were willing to go in order to save their music. They’ll be quizzed orally, musically, and in written form on impossibly hard things they have no business knowing. This is probably the first and last time I will tune into the CW, but I think I speak for everyone when I say this sounds beyond awesome.
