Subscribe To Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family And Others Renewed At ABC Updates
ABC just dropped the ax on a number of series, but there's good news for others, including some of their soapier offerings. Scandal, Grey's Anatomy and Nashville have all been renewed for new seasons, as well as Castle. And on the comedy front, Modern Family, The Middle, Suburgatory and Last Man Standing will return as well.

EW shared the news tonight. For Scandal, that's a greenlight for Season 3. Nashville will be back for Season 2. Castle will be going on Season 6, and Grey's Anatomy tops the mentioned dramas with its approaching tenth season. Modern Family and The Middle will both be going on their fifth seasons, while Suburgatory and Last Man Standing will be on their thirds.

Missing from the above mentioned renewed series are Red Widow, Malibu Country, How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life), Family Tools, Body of Proof and Happy Endings, all of which were among the recently cancelled series, unfortunately.

EW also adds to the list of new series headed to ABC. Earlier, we shared word that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Rebel Wilson's Super Fun Night were going to series, along with Betrayal, Kyle Killen's Mind Games and lottery drama Lucky 7. Joining them are comedies Back in the Game - starring Maggie Lawson, Griffin Gluck and James Caan - and Trophy Wife, which stars Malin Akerman and Bradley Whitford. Also joining ABC is ensemble comedy Mixology and drama Killer Woman, which stars Tricia Helfer.
