Sony Offers Pan Am Episodes Free At iTunes, Amazon And Other Distributors

While we still don’t know whether ABC’s Pan Am will return for a second season, those of you who either fell behind or haven’t had the opportunity to check out the 1960’s drama now have the opportunity to see them for free. All of the episodes are currently available for download free on iTunes as well as some other digital outlets.

Pan Am is a drama set in the ’60’s, which follows the men and women working among the flight crew for Pan Am. Nine episodes of the fourteen episodes ordered for the ABC series’ first season have aired so far and according to Deadline Sony Pictures TV has generously offered the nine previously released episodes for free via iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, CinemaNow, Sony Video Unlimited and PlayStation Store.

Likely to be more of an attempt to encourage viewership than it is general holiday generosity, the episodes will be available through January 5th, which times it pretty closely to the series’ returned with new episodes on January 8th. Those of you who were considering giving the series a chance now have the opportunity to do so. And availability for download (as opposed to just streaming, as is the case for Revenge), means those of you who are planning to travel for the holidays can take Pan Am with you and get caught up before the drama returns in 2012.
