T.R. Knight Will Guest Star In Season 4 Of The Good Wife

Things are heating up on The Good Wife. The firm still has a long way to go to accumulate the wealth needed to secure its finances, and the election is causing problems for Peter, Eli, and Alicia. In the midst of all this, The Good Wife has cast Grey’s Anatomy’s T.R. Knight for a guest role.

This is actually a bigger deal than one would think. Knight left Grey’s Anatomy in 2009, in an epic story arc that left his character, George, completely dead. The man then focused on his stage career and has not really returned to TV, except for one brief guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit in 2011. Taking the time out of his busy schedule to do The Good Wife is not only good news for fans, it’s also simply impressive that CBS’ lawyer show managed to nab the man.

According to EW, there hasn’t been a whole lot of news released concerning the character, but Knight will play a political operative during his guest stint. The episode will appear later in the season.

Knight joins a slew of guest stars for Season 4, including the more recently added Stockard Channing, Carrie Preston, and John Shea. The show’s lengthy list of guest stars is basically too numerous to count in whole, and some of the key players this season, including Kristin Chenoweth and Maura Tierney, have already made their mark.

You can catch the critically acclaimed program on CBS Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
