Big Mac lovers, rejoice! For the first time ever, McDonald's is going to give away bottles of its special Big Mac sauce for one day only, and that day is this Thursday, January 26.

The fast food chain is going to be giving away 10,000 bottles of its specialty secret sauce at participating stores on Thursday, USA Today reported. McDonald's made the announcement by tweeting a video on Tuesday morning, although we still don't know which stores will be participating.

Although this will be the first time McDonald's has given away bottles of its Big Mac sauce, it actually has sold a few bottles of the secret ingredient before. Back in 2015, it first sold a bottle of its signature sauce in an auction, and it went for a whopping $18,000, according to Business Insider. That definitely makes getting it for free this week sound much more appealing. After the success of that auction, 40 McDonald's across Australia sold bottles of Big Mac sauce for $4.95 for a limited time at the beginning of 2016. That wider sale also revealed some of the secret ingredients in the sauce, including pickle relish, onion powder, and paprika, Delish reported.

The sauce giveaway will coincide with McDonald's introducing its new Big Mac size options. For a limited time, the fast food giant will be offering its signature item in both a larger and a smaller size for interested customers. The Mac Jr. downsizes the original Big Mac to only include one meat patty, and the Grand Mac supersizes the usual meat patties in the burger and includes and extra slice of cheese.

These new menu tweaks follow in a year of innovative new experiments for McDonald's. The fast food chain has recently tested out a spicy new Sriracha burger in Columbus, Ohio, but the biggest thing it did in recent years was to expand its popular breakfast menu to be available all day. Previously, the chain would only serve its eggs, biscuits, hash browns, and other breakfast items before 11:00 a.m., but McDonald's received a lot of love from its customers when it ended that time restriction. McDonald's ends its sauce giveaway announcement video by saying "We can't wait to show you what's next," so it's clear that the fast food giant will continue switching things up in the years to come.

But on to more pressing matters: 10,000 bottles of Big Mac sauce may sound like a lot, but it pales in comparison to the tens of millions of people that McDonald's serves each day. If you want to get your hands on a bottle of your own, you've got to be ready on Thursday!
