Racing fans, rejoice! New screen-captures and details have been released for Gran Turismo 5. The new GT5 features everything you could possibly have wanted from the game and then some. In addition to some new features announced regarding the game we have some exclusive new screen-captures for you.
I was once debating with a fellow reader here at Blend Games about the Gran Turismo franchise. While the series always contained a staggering amount of automobiles to drive, I always felt it lacked the customization and damage physics to make it a better series than Forza Motorsport. Well, it looks like I must concede that Gran Turismo 5 looks like it could be a much better game than Forza Motorsport 3. And this is no joke. As soon as the trailer is available for posting we’ll make sure you all get to see just how amazing GT5 really looks. The game doesn’t even look like a game…and even more so than Forza 3, not that I thought that was possible. Anyway, not only does it look fantastic but Gran Turismo 5 will feature Nascars for the first time, traditional oval-tracks, pit crews and everything else in between. There will also be offroad racing available, even more advanced car physics and the most important thing of them all: realtime car damage. The game is due out next year, exclusively for the PlayStation 3. You can check out some new screen-captures below.
