When word reached our ears here at CB that one of Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s games would be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade, hearts were aflutter that we might actually be able to play Rez without having to shell out 300 dollars for it on ebay.
Then it came to be known that the Mizuguchi game making its way to XBLA was infact, a modified version of the PSP game Every Extend Extra. Well…we were disappointed, but only a little because who can be sad when quality content of any kind is coming out?
Dubbed Every Extend Extra Extreme, or E4, the game bears the indelible, stylish mark of Mizuguchi. E4 is based heavily on music, as are most of Mizuguchi’s other titles, and requires the player to drop a sort of bomb into the field in just the right spot so as to destroy the largest number of particles. You can check out the trailer below. Enjoy.
