Microsoft has unveiled the deal of the week for Xbox Live and lucky for you, it involves one of the good entries in the Xbox Originals catalog. Fable is 33% cheaper for the rest of the week.

The price of the Lionhead Studios' role-playing game is now 800 Microsoft Points ($10) instead of 1200 ($15). Note that the full game takes up a hefty 3 GB of space on your Xbox 360's hard drive. Buying it digitally does save you a trip to Gamestop and a lengthy rummage through their bargain bin, though.

Fable was originally released for Xbox in 2004. Fable II was released in October 2008 and a third game in the series is rumored to be in development.
