Namco Bandai’s upcoming open-world adventure game for the Nintendo Wii has officially gone gold and the game is set to release in North America on October 11th. Gamers looking for some family fun at exotic resorts without the travel costs can look no further than Go Vacation.

Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing, Namco Bandai Games America commented in the press release about the game’s release date, saying…
“Even though summer is over, vacation will just be starting for Wii-owning families when Go Vacation is released on October 11,”. “With the game off to manufacturing, Wii gamers are soon to be in for a family-friendly vacation full of exploration, adventure and fun.”

The game is literally like an ‘E’ rated version of Grand Theft Auto, with gamers being able to explore and walk around the massive game world to partake in multiple mini-games including street races, scuba diving, and much more, all with multiplayer support. The game also makes full use of additional Wii peripherals such as the Wii Balance Board, Wii Zapper and Wii MotionPlus.

You can look for the game to hit retail shelves near you, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii beginning October 11th. Need more info on the game before deciding to make a purchase? Well, the Official Website might help out with that.
