Halo 4 Console Images Are Full Of Temptation

Late this week, Microsoft and 343 Industries revealed a limited edition Xbox 360 console inspired by Halo 4. A new set of photos of the console and its controller strongly make the case for a purchase.

It looks like the standalone controller is different from the controllers packaged with the console. The images of a gamepad by itself show a large UNSC logo on the left half. This is an amazing touch. I also like the glass case, which gives it a "meaningless entertainment award" touch.

The controllers will cost $60 apiece. The $399 console bundle comes with two gamepads, a black headset, and bonus digital content. A standard edition of Halo 4 is naturally included as well.

Someone who's waited this long to get a 360 might not jump at the chance to buy this. After all, the rumor is that the next Xbox and PlayStation will be out in late 2013. However, Halo fans looking to replace their dead 360 won't be able to find a better option than this.
