Looking an awful lot like Mist Walker’s Lost Odyssey, Namco Bandai and Banpresto’s upcoming RPG for the Xbox 360, Magna Carta 2 is an absolute visual masterpiece. Words can only partially describe the flattery your eyes will undergo when viewing the trailer, so that’s why we have it ripe and ready for your viewing pleasure here at Blend Games.

As far as gameplay goes, Magna Carta 2 mixes in some real-time action combat with traditional turn-based special attacks and cinematic looking super-moves. Despite the stiff looking character movements when running around, the action seems to flow seamlessly during the transition into the actual combat.

One thing of note is that this game looks very impressive to be on the Xbox 360. This is not to say that 360 games can’t look good, it’s just that we rarely expect them to look this good. The character detail is impeccable and I’m curious how much customizing can be done when it comes to armor, weapon upgrades and the like.
