World War II sandbox game The Saboteur was released to stores today for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Normally the console editions of a game cost $10 more than the PC edition but not yet.

"Best Buy, Gamestop, Wall-Mart and many more are offering [the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of] The Saboteur at a special day1/week1 launch price of $50," tweeted developer Pandemic Studios. It's not clear which retailer is offering a one week discount and which one's offering it just for the day.

This is a bit of a weird discount, to be honest. With Pandemic closing its main studio late last month, though, maybe sales expectations are low.
