After all the Alien vs. Predator movies, and what really seemed like the death of all public interest in any of the characters, it's pretty shocking to hear that anyone is planning to tackle the Predator character again. But then again, Robert Rodriguez is the one doing it-- and he's taken on so many crazy projects that pretty much nothing should surprise us at this point.Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Rodriguez and his Troublemaker Studios want to produce a Predator reboot for Fox. Changing things up, they're planning to make a movie featuring more than one predator. Or, at least, that's what we're getting from the somewhat vague language of the pitch: "In the reboot a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters." So what do we think? Just imaginative enough to wipe away all the bad memories and start fresh? Or not doing enough to honor the original character? I figure we shouldn't care one way or another, so long as they can come up with a movie that's actually worth watching for once.
