MOVIE NEWS
Aniston Dumps Beanie Why does Jennifer Aniston keep ending up opposite weird, nerdy, or just plain odd looking leading men? On “Friends” she kept getting hooked up with the dopey nerd Ross. In The Good Girl she’s married to John C. Reilly. In Office Space she’s dating the pasty, ambition-free Peter. The poor woman even had to get romantic with Ben Stiller via a ferret. Maybe that’s why she overcompensated in her real life and married uber-hunk Brad Pitt.
Well her luck in movie men hasn’t changed, according to The Hollywood Reporter she’s slated to star opposite Vince Vaughn in The Break Up for director Peyton Reed. Ok, maybe five or ten years ago Vince Vaughn was a little something of a sex symbol. But since then, he’s turned himself into a paunchy, cheesy, running gag. Tom Cruise he isn’t. As for Vince, he's become ridiculously prolific in recent years, set already to appear this summer in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The Wedding Crashers. Last week we all saw him wearing velvet in Be Cool. The guy is more overexposed than Jude Law, but he keeps right on plugging. In fact, The Break Up is a film written by Jay Lavender and Jeremy Garelick, but based on an original idea by Vaughn. The man’s output is incredible. His recent quality though, may be a little questionable. It’s all been downhill since Old School. |
