I’m excited for Cowboys & Aliens, but every time I watch the trailer it feels like there’s something missing. The aliens really seem to have things together, but the cowboys are kind of a mess of raw nerves and confusion. Maybe it’s because they’re played by a Brit and a smuggler, but to me it seems like if they’re going to face off against a group of interplanetary badasses, the cowboys could use an injection of real, honest to god, raw nerve.

What Cowboys & Aliens needs is Clint Eastwood.
