Well excuse me now I’m going to go vomit and weep at the same time. I may also start pissing blood. That’s right boys and girls its remake time again, and this time, it’s Sisters the one of the best films of DePalma on the chopping block.

Sisters told the story of an innocent young model who had a murderous Siamese twin to deal with. She is doggedly pursued by a young reporter who witnesses a murder. The film was a near perfect blend of Hitchcockian intense set pieces, and Lynchian Surrealism. The trailer for the remake would seem to have absolutely none of that.

Lord knows I love DePalma, and to have his first great thriller remade like this breaks my heart. And by the way to the Jackasses who run the site the trailer’s on. MARGOT KIDDER ITS MARGOT KIDDER NOT ADRIAN FREAKING BARBEAU!!!
