I have high hopes for the upcoming Hugh Jackman/Ewan McGregor thriller Deception. Part of the reason it looks so interesting is the way Fox has managed to make the thing look eerily sexy. The first poster for the film did a good job of emphasizing that, with Ewan McGregor’s floating head in the midst of giving Michelle Williams one helluva hickey.

Now though, Fox is taking sexy back. They’re pulling that kind of cool floating heads poster in favor of a traditional floating heads poster which sacrifices sex for a clear shot of Ewan McGregor’s head. I think it’s a lot less interesting. Check out both versions of the poster below, and compare. The one on the left is the first one, the one on the right is the new, second one:
