The third annual Flaming Hobbit award was presented last night over Pasta e Fagioli at a rather nice Olive Garden somewhere in Dallas, Texas. The Flaming Hobbit is presented each year to a really bad movie that the FH voters like the heck out of, despite its glaring flaws.

This year’s group of nominees included movies like Team America: World Police and Alien vs. Predator, but after a lengthy voting process it was indie film Pizza the Movie which took home the roasted Halfling.

Also presented was the Flaming Hobbit Spirit Award, this year bestowed on pop-culture icon David Hasselhoff in honor of his long and extremely lucky career. Accepting on behalf of Mr. Hasselhoff was noted film critic and talking car enthusiast, Joshua Tyler. Hey, that’s me!
