Call me strange, but I like my Christmas movies to be dark and hilarious. Be it Bad Santa, Die Hard or practically any film written by Shane Black, I can't officially call it the holiday season until I see someone gunned down in front of a Christmas tree. This is one of the main reasons why I can't wait for A Very And Harold And Kumar 3D Christmas. Though the release date is a bit early for my taste (the film is set to come out on November 4th), the trailer has the perfect blend of dead Santas, drugged-up babies, and Neil Patrick Harris. In the new film, set six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) go on another wild ride after Harold accidentally burns down his father-in-law's prized Christmas tree. Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the film also stars Danneel Harris, Danny Trejo, Elias Koteas, David Krumholtz, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Paula Garces, Thomas Lennon, and Patton Oswalt.
