Gotham Tonight Interviews Harvey Dent![]()
The Dark Knight opens this week, but the viral marketing isn’t stopping. Instead it’s continuing to fill in a rich background for the movie’s story, and giving Anthony Michael Hall a chance to be more involved with the movie than he would have if the film stood alone.
Another episode of Gotham Tonight, the Larry King style news show hosted by Mike Engel (Hal), has arrived online. This time Engel is interviewing a key figure for The Dark Knight - District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). It’s a pretty neat (albeit a tad dry) interview that really shows the goals of Dent, along with a good view of how Batman is being received in Gotham. It ties into Batman Begins with discussion of Dr. Crane/Scarecrow, who is either still at large or presumed dead, and ties into The Dark Knight with a breaking story about a bank robbery… by goons in clown masks (that would be the footage IMAX viewers got to see). Check out the latest edition of Gotham Tonight below, or head over to Gotham Cable News, which has been struck by the Joker, to watch the whole series of Internet shorts. |
