Rob Reiner hasn’t made a legitimately decent film since 1996, and then it was First Wives Club. His next movie is due out Christmas Day, and it’s called Rumor Has It… The idea behind it is that the movie Mrs. Robinson is real, and a girl discovers that it’s about her grandmother. She bumps into the guy who banged her granny, and he takes a run at getting her too. The concept is interesting, and the cast is good, but with Rob’s recent track record it’s probably best not to get your hopes up.
