Happy Star Wars Day! May the Fourth be with you! Itís a day of celebration for all thing Star Wars, and fans who likely spent all of Saturday collecting Free Comic Books will settle in on Sunday and figure out some way to pay tribute to George Lucasí beloved sci-fi universe.

Since J.J. Abramsí Star Wars: Episode VII let the cat out of the bag a little earlier in the week by revealing its partial cast, we spent several days speculating on who the actors might be playing. We raved about the developing filmography of Domhnall Gleeson. We tried to figure out who newcomer Daisy Ridley. We salivated over the fact that the original Star Wars stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and more were back in the franchise that gave them silver screen life!

But for Star Wars day (or, the unofficial holiday known as May the Fourth), I wanted to turn the conversation over to you. We have spent so much time speculating over the possible direction of J.J. Abramsí Star Wars: Episode VII and the sequels we believe will follow. This is likely going to be the first massive step on a very long Star Wars journey, and Abrams is going to need the support of rabid Star Wars fans to keep this universe afloat. How can he do that?

Star Wars: Episode VII, to me, needs to pull off some of the magic that J.J. Abrams poured into his Star Trek reboot. It needs to rekindle the passion, amusement and nostalgia that fans used to hold for the series. It needs to give us new reason to care deeply about the classic characters. And it needs to entertain fans of every generation. J.J. Abramsí Star Trek made me care deeply about Star Trek again. I want him to do the same for Star Wars.

Today, though, I want to open up this forum to Star Wars fans so that you guys can talk about what YOU want out of Star Wars: Episode VII. Expectations are high. We know that. But what ARE your expectations. What do you need J.J. Abrams to accomplish with his first chapter? What would constitute a "success" for Star Wars: Episode VII. On the unofficial celebration of all things Star Wars, the future of the film franchise appears incredibly bright. Hit the comments section below and talk about what you want and need out of Star Wars: Episode VII. And may the force be with all of you!
