Transformers 3 May Cast Jamie Kennedy And Patrick Dempsey![]()
Whatever they do with the next Transformers, you have to think that we’re past the whole “boy growing up with his car” plot which drove the first two movies. We can only watch Shia LaBeouf re-enact scenes from Van Wilder so many times. So it makes sense that they might shake things up by bringing in new cast members, but as shakeups go, this one seems more unexpected than most.
The fan site TFW 2005 has been busy digging up strange Transformers information and they’ve discovered two new possible additions to the Transformers universe. Those additions are Jamie Kennedy and Patrick Dempsey. The news of Dempsey’s involvement comes from a site called BOL where, if you put them through a Babel Fish, you’ll discover that Dempsey reveals he’ll be in Transformers 3. he says that in the film he’ll, “play a character who is much “darker” than the others” Darker than even Megatron? That’s pretty dark, especially for a guy best known for playing soft, gooey, neutered male rom-com leads. Word of comedian Jamie Kennedy’s Transformers casting was picked up by TFW2005 from an Arizona radio station, where they say Jamie showed up and revealed, “I had an interesting interview with the people behind the new Transformers movie and I may have a role in the movie.” I’m already picturing him as the voice of the latest in hip-hop Transformers. Maybe he can voice a group of racist, transforming, low-rider triplets. He’ll fit right in. |
