Well, this is pretty minor news but people care about it so here we go: According to the BBC (via AICN), X3 has just cast an actor to play a younger version of Professor X. The guy’s name is Scott Madej, and if you can find any information on him you’re better connected than me.

With Juggernaut rumored to be in X3, it isn’t surprising to hear we might be getting flashbacks. Juggie is after all Xavier’s brother. It likely doesn’t have any impact on whether Stewart will be back, he’s already confirmed for the film. I wish they’d cast Tom Hardy. Not because he’s all that good, I just think it’d be funny for someone to be typecast as playing Stewart 2.0. I’m all about amusing myself.
