After years of development, Southpaw is finally coming out to play. The boxing drama once courted Eminem before landing Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead, and now director Antoine Fuqua is going about filling out the cast. And would you believe he's enlisting People Magazine's Most Beautiful Person In The World, queen bee Regina George, and Ghost Dog?

Richard Curtis, the writer who mastered the high-concept wish-fulfillment fantasy of Notting Hill and the many-threaded romances of Love Actually, is the perfect person to bring us a rom-com like About Time. Unfortunately, even though Curtis wrote and directed it, About Time is not a perfect rom-com for him, with sloppier plotting and fuzzier morals than the airy story can handle, and a wide streak of sentimentality that's frustratingly unearned
Charlotte Gainsbourg has signed on to play the aforementioned mother, while Robert Naylor of televisionís Being Human will portray the surviving brother. For her part, McAdams will play Francoís concern girlfriend, who attempts to help him cope in the shadow of his guilt.

When Cooper was cast opposite Stone I complained that it was another in a long string of age-inappropriate relationships for Cooper onscreen, coming just after he romanced 15-years-younger Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook. McAdams, on the other hand, is only three years younger than Cooper, which makes it much more the kind of matchup we can get behind. Of course, given that McAdams is reportedly playing the ex it's clear that age is just a number here, but it's a step at least
Rachel McAdams didn't fare all that waell the first time she starred in a romance opposite a man who could time travel, when The Time Traveler's Wife failed to be nearly as big a hit as the movie it was based on. But she's giving it another shot anyway, starring opposite Anna Karenina standout Domnhall Gleeson
Sure, she hasn't turned The Vow into a mega-year quite the way her co-star Channing Tatum has, but she's doing pretty well, and she looks to be continuing her hot streak with A Most Wanted Man, the John le Carre novel adaptation that already has Philip Seymour Hoffman set to star
