Over-the-top names are about as rampant in the celebrity population as tuberculosis was in the world in the 1800s. Luckily, some celebrity couples don’t succumb to the pressure to give their kids names that are unique to the point of being ludicrous or ineffective. Celebrity couple Giuliana and Bill Rancic have been super crazy about baby showers over the past couple of months, but they are not too cuckoo over a non-traditional baby name.
The pair recently found out they are having a baby boy, and while they are not yet decided on a name, they have decided to go a more traditional route. However, Giuliana would still like to stress their baby will have more than a basic average name. I’m guessing Bill, Jr. is not in the cards.
“We’re going for traditional but not commonly used. None of those Hollywood names. It won’t be anything like Stereo System or Flag.”
The couple spoke with People to state their kid will also be wearing traditional clothing. Bill was even pretty explicit in stating his baby will not be wearing fedora hats. In fact, I’ll go ahead and make a shortlist of all of the clothing Giuliana and Bill’s baby boy will probably never have the opportunity to wear, including: unitards, beanies, kimonos, striped pants, cowboy boots, mesh shirts, and cut-off jeans. Despite the restrictions, that baby is going to be striking.
