Jenna Bush Hager And Husband Are Excited About Her Pregnancy

Jenna Bush Hager is ready to become a mother. The thirty-one-year-old daughter of former President George W Bush announced the exciting news this morning on NBC’s Today. Many of the specifics such as how far she is along or whether she knows the sex of the child haven’t yet been announced, but regardless, the lack of details don’t in any way dull the excitement.

Bush Hager’s life has become a whole lot busier and a whole lot more complicated in the last few years. She married husband Henry Hager, a former aide to her father, in May of 2008 at the family ranch, and more recently took on jobs as a Today correspondent and an editor at large at Southern Living magazine. She’s expected to continue with both of those tasks for at least the near future until she takes a hiatus prior to the birth.

According to Reuters, the former President appeared on Today also via a phone interview and jokingly said he’d like his future grandchild to call him “Sir” at all times. He’s apparently very fired up for to meet Jenna’s child and assumedly, with plenty of time on his hands, will be a pretty involved member of the family.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to the entire Bush Hager family during this exciting time. With care, determination and patience, both Jenna and Henry should make wonderful and capable first-time parents.
