Lil Wayne Says He'll Be Married Soon: How Long Will It Take Him?

Music has given Lil Wayne an exciting and luxurious life, but apparently, the swinging routine of an in-demand bachelor isn’t enough to satisfy the star long-term. Not long after saying he’d like to transition away from performing to a life of skateboarding and commenting on professional sports, the thirty-year-old announced he sees himself settling down and getting married sometime in the near future.

The announcement was made during an interview with MTV earlier this week. Weezy told the outlet he’s always been family-oriented and sees himself not only taking but fully embracing the next step toward domestic bliss.

”I’ll probably run down the aisle.”

Men might not be known for their inherent love of marriage, but at some point, most guys get to the point where they want to find someone to spend the rest of their life with. It’s unclear whether Lil Wayne has anyone in mind as a good future Mrs. Weezy candidate, but given his talent, sense of humor and resources, he should have plenty of choices to pick from.

I’m sure Lil Wayne was serious when he made these comments, and I’m extremely confident he will get married at some point. However, saying you’re looking and actually taking a step down the aisle are two very different things. This process could take six months or it could take a decade.

What do you think? How long will it be before Lil Wayne ties the knot? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
