Stephanie Pratt's Boyfriend Julien Chabbott Accused Of Running Over Cop's Foot
Julien Chabbott, best known as Stephanie Pratt’s twenty-eight-year-old boyfriend, was heading back to his car parked in front of the Mercer Hotel in SoHo on Saturday when he noticed two police officers getting ready to ticket the vehicle. Rather than simply being annoyed and paying the fine, Chabbott reportedly hopped into his car, started the engine and drove over the officer’s foot.
According to The New York Daily News, the officer whose foot was run over as well as his partner responded immediately and aggressively to Chabbott’s behavior. He was reportedly pulled from his vehicle, slammed to the ground, hogtied and swiftly handcuffed. Police might put up with a small measure of disrespect, but I’m not sure there’s a single policeman in New York that would passively sit by after having a foot run over.
It’s unclear exactly how much a ticket for parking in a no standing zone in front of the Mercer Hotel would cost, but whatever the fee is will no doubt pale in comparison to Chabbott’s court costs. He’s been charged with assault, vehicular assault, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct. With his assets, the defendant will likely procure an attorney good enough to arrange a plea deal, if he decides to avoid court. If he chances it, however, he could potentially be looking at more than just a slap on the wrist.
