J.Lo 'Moves' With MTV

With shows like ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and Fox’s semi-hit ‘Skating With Celebrities’, its about time MTV got caught up with the times. Jennifer Lopez (a.k.a J.Lo, a.k.a. Jenny from the Block) will be producing the new MTV Reality show, ‘Moves’.

In the show, six people will dance their fannies off in an attempt to hit it big in the dance industry. The former fly girl will mainly be producing the show but we can expect at least a few camio appearances throughout the 8-episode series.

MTV has had much success in the past with their reality shows. Among their hits were 'Making the Band', 'The Osbournes', 'The Newlyweds', 'My Super Sweet Sixteen' and more recently, 'Tiara Girls'. The longest running reality show on MTV is the ever popular 'Real World'. While 'Real World' still maintains a fairly large audience, it seems as though the more competetive reality shows have become the must-see TV over the last few years. 'Moves' is sure to capture a younger audience along with plenty of dancer-wannabes and J.Lo fans.
