Modern Family Season 3 Preview: Episode 11 - Lifetime Supply

ABC’s comedy line-up returns from the winter hiatus tonight, which means an all new episode of Modern Family! One of the clips we have to show you from “Lifetime Supply” indicates that someone’s number may be up. At least, they think it is. Meanwhile, the other clip features guest star Benjamin Bratt.

This week’s episode features the return of Benjamin Bratt as Javier, as well as the return of Philip Baker Hall, who is set to reprise his role as the usually grumpy Mr. Kleezak. I hope this means he and Luke will have a scene together. One of my favorite scenes from the show was when Luke went over to Kleezak’s house to get the lost baseball and mistakes the man’s oxygen tank to mean there was no air inside his house.

There’s no mention of how Mr. Kleezak fits into this week’s episode in ABC’s description below, but it does state how Javier fits into the story this week, as well as which character thinks they’re going to die. Spoilers (and videos!) ahead...

"Lifetime Supply" - After having a doctor's visit but then missing the call with the test results, Phil automatically jumps to conclusions and starts saying his goodbyes. Meanwhile Javier pops up unannounced again and takes Manny to the horse races for a belated birthday celebration, and a subtle competition ensues when Mitchell brings home an environmental law award and it becomes a game of who has the bigger trophy, on Modern Family, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
