I'm Scared Mummy! New Goosebumps Collections On DVD

Kids everywhere will be covered in goose bumps once they get their hands on these new DVD sets from Fox Home Entertainment. On March 31st, two new Goosebumps DVD collections will be released that will be sure to have you checking under your bed before going to sleep.

Return of the Mummy and The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight both come from the hit book series written by R.L. Stine. It may seem like you haven’t touched a Goosebumps book in years, but recent hype over Stine’s newest edition, Goosebumps HorrorLand, is igniting a kiddy horror craze once again.

Both collections come with three stories. Return of the Mummy tells of Gabe’s experience when he watches his uncle unearth the tomb of an Egyptian prince. The mummy mayhem continues with Don’t Wake Mummy, the story of Jeff Carter who is having a difficult time getting used to the 4,000-year-old mummy he receives from his father. Finally, the collection brings you You Can’t Scare Me during which Eddie and Hat plot to scare a friend at Muddy Creek.

The second collection, The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight, features The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight, Don’t Go to Sleep and Calling All Creeps. In the first story, Jodie and Mark encounter some scary scarecrows at their grandparents’ farm. Then, Matt Amsterdam awakes from a nap to find that things in his home aren’t the same as when he first laid down to rest. Lastly, Ricky Beamer has a score to settle with a young girl. He decides to put her number in a personal ad, but quickly regrets his decision when he is the one to receive some eerie phone calls.

Kids can watch their favorite classic tales of scares come to life with these two collections. If you’re a mummy who doesn’t mind her kids losing some sleep, you can pick up these DVDs for $14.98 each.
