Matt Turner, one of the game producers for Army of Two: 40th Day walks gamers through a series of new video trailers, presented by GameTrailers. Turner walks viewers through a large portion of a zoological shootout, but not before showing off an even more revamped gun customization feature.

On the subject of customized weapons…in Army of Two: 40th Day players can now change up the clip types, clip size, barrel, silencer, scope, harness, undercarriage and handle. It gets pretty detailed and there are a ton of makeshift items that can be acquired to create custom parts for the weapons…such as a kitchen knife or screwdriver placed underneath the barrel to work as a bayonet.

Further into the videos we get to see how stationary dead hippos (among other things) work as cover during heavy firefights, and we later get to see how to diffuse a situation where the odds are sorely stacked against the main characters of the game. The new hostage and disarm system is kind of cool and takes the good parts from the 2006 third-person shooter, Reservoir Dogs.
