BioShock Infinite: Tears Through A Window Dev Doc
By now we should all know that with BioShock: Infinite things aren’t quite what they seem. Well, we learn even more about the expansive new world of BioShock as the developers talk about opening up rifts and grabbing things out of them…Prey style.
That’s right, BioShock: Infinite will basically dabble into what was originally introduced in the game Prey, by allowing players to partially manipulate alternate realms and dimensions by harnessing Elizabeth’s powers to see the strings of string theory. Interesting, eh?
It’s too bad Prey 2 won’t be evolving the feature that made the game popular: the rifts. Thankfully, Irrational Games will be picking up the reigns and exploring the possibilities of multi-dimensional exploration on a single plane in the upcoming BioShock: Infinite.
You can check out the new developer documentary explaining the new feature for BioShock below. To pre-order the game or learn more about the third outing in the thought-provoking FPS feel free to visit the Official Website.
