Dragon’s Crown is headed to U.S. PlayStation 3 and Vitas this summer and, to prepare everyone for the epic dungeon diving to come, the folks over at Vanillaware and Atlus have released the first in a series of trailers introducing the game’s six main protagonist. Up first is the physics-defying Sorceress.
Know that when I say “physics-defying,” I’m not actually referring to any of the Sorceress’ spells, but rather her less-than-realistic proportions. Also, I think it’s a safe bet that the dress she’s wearing is charmed because, really, how the heck is that thing even staying on?
Honestly, I’m pretty upset by Vanillaware’s decision to go with this particular look. I’m no prude or anything, but I can’t help but feel like the Sorceress’ model goes way above and beyond the call of duty for typical gaming T and A. It’s a shame, because the above video certainly makes the class look like a fun one to play as.
My personal tastes aside; we can expect another five of these videos to arrive in the coming months featuring the remaining cast members, the Fighter, Dwarf, Amazon, Wizard and Elf. As was recently announced, Dragon’s Crown is headed to Japanese PS3s and Vitas on July 25 and is currently slated for a “summer” release here in the States. So, in just a few months, we can all look forward to enjoying loads of missions, loot, skill, weapons and abilities and, of course, ludicrous jiggle physics that would make the Dead or Alive girls blush. If screenshots are more your thang, you can check out a few of them right here.
