Final Fantasy fans are probably still celebrating the announcement of FFXV at E3, but Square Enix wants to remind everyone that they're still developing those HD remakes of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. They've released out a second trailer with footage from both remakes.
Both games are set in the fantasy world of Spira. In FFX, a Blitzball star named Tidus sets out to defeat a powerful monster known as Sin. FFX-2 picks up two years later. Yuna, one of the main characters from FFX-2, discovers that her lost love may still be alive and sets out to find him.
The visual upgrades over the original PS2 versions are quite clear. The character models are much smoother. The environments are brighter and more detailed as well.
The two games will be released on a single Blu-ray for PS3. Each individual title will be available digitally on the Vita as well.
