343 Industries and Microsoft released a new video for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, the remake of the 2001 shooter. This latest video showcases the upgraded single-player campaign.

The footage is from the mission "The Silent Cartographer." It's the same mission you remember from way back when, though with much improved visuals. Executive producer Dan Ayoub, who narrates the video, says that a new graphics engine was layered on top of the original Halo: Combat Evolved code. The result is that the game still plays like the original.

If you're not one for fancy next-gen graphics, you can switch the game to Classic Mode. Classic Mode, which can be toggled on and off at any time, reverts the game to its original visuals. If nothing else, it allows you to compare the new and old graphics more easily.

Combat Evolved Anniversary will be released on Xbox 360 on November 15th.
