NetherRealms Studios has revealed that Deathstroke, a.k.a. Slade Wilson, will be playable in their DC Comics fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Deathstroke is the 13th character confirmed for the game thus far.
Nicknamed "The Terminator," Deathstroke is a world-renowned mercenary. He has nearly superhuman speed and strength thanks to U.S. Army experiments. Deathstroke is proficient with a wide range of melee and ranged weapons, but can fight hand-to-hand if needed.
Deathstroke is one of the lesser-known DC characters confirmed for Injustice thus far. However, his inclusion is no big shock. He's been featured in many other DC Comics games, including Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and DC Universe Online.
Injustice will arrive in April 2013. Other previously confirmed characters include Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and the Joker.
