It appears PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet is getting its oft-rumored sequel. As with all news these days, this information was revealed accidentally via a social networking site.
"Pleased to announce the licensing of 'Infotain Me' to Sony for Little Big Planet 2 on the PS3," tweeted musician Ochre. IGN spotted the tweet on Friday. It's since been taken down.
Sony purchased LBP developer Media Molecule in March. The two companies seem intent on building that game into a franchise, with comics, cartoons and the like. Game sequels are no doubt part of that equation.
