One of Modern Warfare 2's biggest new features is Special Ops mode, a series of standalone challenges for one or two players. Infinity Ward may release post-release content for this mode if you're really jonesing for it.

"Spec Ops is a great mode that is built where it could be expanded if we want," said IW community manager Robert Bowling in a video interview with MTV. "So I mean, once the game is out we're going to take a little break and play with everybody and see what they want more of. I mean, if everybody's clamouring for more Spec Ops missions, that's something we're going to look at."

Infinity Ward also intends to release map packs for the game's competitive multiplayer. They're at least going to make two of those, and they'll be timed exclusives for the Xbox 360.
