Parappa The Rappa Makes His PSP Debut...Gangsta' Style
It doesn’t seem like ten years have passed and gone since the rhythm rapping game changed the way we looked at flat-paper, rapping dogs. Yet, time has waited for no one and Sony is taking this aging opportunity to sieze advantage of this ten year anniversary moment to re-release Parappa on the PSP, with a flood of new options, including a new multiplayer mode.
I remember “punching like this” and “kicking like this” with an onion-headed martial-arts instructor. I also remember the diarrhea inducing birthday cake that had Parappa racing to a gas station bathroom...ah, those were the days. Well, now they’re coming back in the form of a handheld experience. And it only took ten years to make it happen.
“Bringing PaRappa The Rapper to PSP allows true PlayStation fans to re-connect with this timeless classic,” said John Koller, Senior Marketing Manager, Sony Computer Entertainment America. “This also introduces the beloved PaRappa and his cast of colorful friends to a new generation of fans and potential hip-hop stars on the move.”
In addition to those promising words from Koller, is a list of features below. Sorry folks, no trailer this time around. Although, you can bet your second-to-last dollar that we’ll have a trailer up for your viewing pleasure as soon as possible. You can look for Parappa the Rapper’s PSP debut to take place this July.
Parappa The Rappa PSP Features:
• Featuring all the characters, levels and songs from the original PaRappa The Rapper
