Might and Delight's gravity-based, light-spectacle platform game called Pid has received its official release date for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game will be arriving on October 31st for 800 MS Points and $9.99 on PC. The game will also launch later this year for the PlayStation Network.

Might and Delight's platforming action romp is a neat exercise of graphical ingenuity meets hardcore skill-based gameplay. The game was even designed so that players wouldn't die too often the first time through by having the normal mode play out mostly for kicks and the real game mode coming into play after you beat the game the first time. Not only does this extend the replayability of Pid but it also brings back the old-school gaming mechanics of having something new to do after conquering the game for the very first time.

In addition to announcing the official release date for the game, Might and Delight also set out into the wild some new screenshots for the game, too. You can check out the new shots below or gear up for the game's inevitable launch on October 31st for the Xbox 360 and PC. You can learn more by paying a visit to the game's Official Website.
