A new trailer for Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 6 has been released during this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer focuses mostly on scaring up some thrills and tense scenarios, as opposed to some of the previous trailers which seemed to rely on full-on, roided-up action.

I know that the community is sort of split on what to think of Resident Evil 6. The comments from Capcom that the game needs to be more action-oriented to capture the Call of Duty crowd was almost equivalent to letting a monkey stir your coffee after using that same finger to poke around in its own feces. However, at the same time, Capcom has also pledged to appease the core crowd by keeping some aspects horror-survival oriented with Leon and Wesker Jr. gameplay segments. We won't properly be able to tell until the full game is out and about on store shelves.

In the meantime, you can check out the new SDCC trailer for the game below.

I'm torn on what to actually think about the game. On one hand it looks like a ton of fun, and the co-op seems like it could be a blast. On the other hand, Capcom has been going over and beyond to screw gamers over by trying to implement ridiculous profit-scheming measures into some of their games, as well as always aiming for the lowest common denominator in order to profit as much as possible while ignoring a lot of the things that made them famous to begin with *cough*Mega-Man*cough*.

You can look for Resident Evil 6 to launch for home consoles and PC on October 2nd, later this year. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website.
