The wait is finally over. After having to wait almost a year for Sacred 2 to appear on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, CDV has announced that the game has shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The real question now, is whether or not it was worth the wait?

For non-JRPG fans this probably looks like a great alternative in comparison to a lot of the traditional anime-based role-playing games that have been released as of late. With the exception of Valkyria Chronicles, many of them have been rather humdrum and very unoriginal.

Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, however, gets back to the roots of third-person, isometric role-playing. What’s more is that the game sports multiplayer cooperative modes for both online and offline play and a host of skills, magic and items to collect and master. The game also contains mounts that players can ride that range from standard-fare horses to tigers and other wild beasts.

The game is currently available for the suggested retail price of $59.99. You can directly order the game from the Official CDV Buyers Page. For more information regarding Sacred 2: Fallen Angel you can drop by the Official Website. And be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for our upcoming review of the game.
