Transformers Prime Video Game Coming To DS, Wii, 3DS

Activision revealed that they'll be publishing another Transformers game this year. Transformers Prime, based on the kids' show of the same name, will be released for the 3DS, DS and Wii.
In Prime, Megatron and the other Decepticons have gotten their hands on a new secret weapons. The Autobots must once again save the earth. Players will control Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Ratchet, and Bulkhead among others.
In terms of gameplay, Prime is primarily a brawler. You'll also shift into vehicle mode and go through a few driving sequences. There's no mention of multiplayer, but it does sound like the sort of experience that lends itself to local co-op.
"Hasbro Studios has done a phenomenal job with the Transformers Prime television show," said David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing. "We are collaborating closely with the series creators to capture all the adventure, humor and friendships from the show to create an authentic action experience for TRANSFORMERS fans of all ages to enjoy."
If you're looking for a more "adult" Transformers games, Fall of Cybertron would be the better option. Cybertron is due later this year as well. Supposedly Cybertron and Prime follow the same continuity so you won't need to worry about your kid playing something non-canon.
