Ubisoft delivered a new gameplay trailer for their intriguing sandbox game Watch Dogs this afternoon. They also announced that the game will be launching worldwide in November.
In Watch Dogs, players take on the role of vigilante Aiden Pearce. He can hack into Chicago's central operating system (ctOS) in order to manipulate most electronic devices. For example, he can make retractable bollards rise out of the street to wreck an oncoming police car.
The game isn't all hacking, though. Ubisoft has included a healthy amount of action as well. The gameplay trailer shows Aiden wielding a baton and firearms. Driving is a key component of Watch Dogs as well.
Watch Dogs will launch on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U on November 19th in North America and on the 22nd in Europe. Ubisoft also mentions that the game will be a launch title for the PS4 (expected in November) and "other next generation consoles" (presumably the next Xbox).
Gamers in North America can pre-order through GameStop to get an exclusive poster. The poster, said to be the inspiration behind the box art, was designed by comic book artist Alex Ross.
