Here comes a familiar story. After college, you have to get a job! And figure out how to pay your rent! It's amazing how many of us leave school ignoring these basic facts, so maybe it's actually a good thing that CBS Films is producing the comedy spec Get A Job, about college slackers who lower their life expectations when they hit the real world.
Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel wrote the spec, according to THR, and also have a ton of spec in development at various studios around town. Presumably they're just two of many, many screenwriters who have had that same post-college shellshock, in which you realize no one actually wants to pay you for writing.
